Dehradun. The 13th issue of the monthly magazine “Sain Srijan Patal” was released in the traditional Uttarakhandi setting of Dindyaali Homestay, located near Thano in Siriyon village.
The chief guest, Arvind Mohan Naithani, congratulated the editorial team on the publication of the latest issue and extended a warm welcome at his homestay. He said that the purpose behind building Dindyaali Homestay was to give the younger generation a glimpse of Uttarakhand’s rural culture and heritage. According to him, this connection would give them a sense of belonging to their roots and inspire them to return to their villages.
The magazine’s Chief Editor, Prof. K.L. Talwar, expressed gratitude to the Dindyaali Homestay family and said it was a privilege that the magazine’s new issue was launched in an environment that reflected the very essence for which the magazine was founded. He emphasized that Uttarakhand’s rich culture and heritage are vast, and it is crucial to keep today’s generation connected to them.
Sub Editor Ankit Tiwari noted that within just one year, Sain Srijan Patal has established a unique identity among readers by staying deeply rooted in Uttarakhandiyat. The magazine regularly publishes insightful articles on Uttarakhand’s folk festivals, attire, ornaments, cuisine, architecture, religious and adventure tourism, as well as agriculture and horticulture.
Mrs. Neelam Talwar added that the magazine is also committed to raising awareness about environmental conservation and public health, which form an integral part of its content.
On this occasion, homestay host Arvind Mohan Naithani was felicitated with a special memento on behalf of Sai Srijan Patal.
