Dehradun(Ankit Tiwari) : The annual function of The Poly Kids School, DL Road, witnessed vibrant cultural performances by school children that captivated the audience. The program was held on Sunday at the Survey of India Auditorium and was inaugurated by the chief guest, Rajpur Road MLA Khazan Das, who lit the ceremonial lamp.
Addressing the gathering, he said that there is a great need to impart value-based education to today’s generation. He expressed happiness that all branches of The Poly Kids School are making commendable efforts in this direction.
The program, based on the theme “Footprints Across the World,” beautifully showcased the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). African Tribal Dance, Waltz Dance, performances depicting Antarctica, Oceans of the World, and Native American culture were the major attractions of the annual function.
In the grand finale dance, India’s unity in diversity was elegantly portrayed on stage, where children presented lively performances dressed in traditional costumes representing various states of the country.
Chairman Mukul Mahendru stated that the teaching staff of all branches of The Poly Kids School are continuously striving with dedication and full commitment to provide quality education.
On this occasion, Director Uday Gujral and Rohan Gujral, Ranjana Mahendru, Principal Sangeeta Malhotra, Divya Jain, Deepti Sethi, along with many parents, were present. The program was jointly anchored by Saksham Malhotra and Shalini Subba.
