Dehradun. Dr. Dilip Vaishnav, Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, released the 18th issue of the monthly magazine Sain Srijan Patal. On Sunday, at a program organized at the Sain Srijan Patal office in Jogiwala, Dr. Vaishnav released the magazine and extended his best wishes to the editorial team.
He stated that while Sain Srijan Patal magazine is commendably working to take Uttarakhand’s rich heritage to the masses, it is also playing an important role in public awareness through the articles published in it. The founder of the patal and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, retired Principal Prof. K. L. Talwar, informed that this is the 18th issue in the magazine’s continuous publication journey. With the support of contributing writers and readers, the magazine has successfully completed one and a half years, which should be seen as a significant achievement. He added that the objective with which the magazine was started ‘to promote writing and creative expression’ appears to be getting fulfilled.
Sub Editor Ankit Tiwari said that the inclusion of articles on Uttarakhand’s religious and adventure tourism, festivals, traditional cuisine (Garh Bhoj), informative write-ups, and success stories of youth in each issue has made the magazine even more enriching. Enlightened readers eagerly wait for the latest issue of the magazine at the end of every month.
On this occasion, Dr. Dilip Vaishnav was honored with the ‘Lekhak Shri Samman’ (Author Honor Award) for his literary contribution to the magazine and was presented with a memento. The event was attended by writer Neelam Talwar, CEO of Insidee Creative Media Akshat, Rishabh Malhotra and many other dignitaries.
