Dehradun: The 12th edition of the monthly magazine Sain Srijan Patal was unveiled by Dr. Amit Sehrawat from AIIMS Rishikesh during a program organized in Jogiwala. Dr. Sehrawat congratulated the editorial team on successfully completing one year of continuous publication and for releasing the 12th edition as a special issue. He remarked that today, Sain Srijan Patal monthly magazine has established a distinct identity in Uttarakhand. Readers eagerly await its release on the last date of every month.
The magazine vividly publishes articles on Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage, religious and adventure tourism, traditional hill cuisines, notable achievements in various fields, and contemporary informative topics. In this edition, an article on Sarcoma, a complex form of cancer, has been prominently featured to raise public awareness.
Editor Prof. K.L. Talwar mentioned that exactly a year ago, the magazine was launched with the motto “Always Committed to Writing and Creativity in Uttarakhand.” With the cooperation of the editorial team, esteemed writers, and all stakeholders, the magazine has successfully completed a one-year journey.
Sub Editor Ankit Tiwari shared that efforts are always made to ensure that each edition reflects the complete environment of Uttarakhand. New writers are consistently encouraged and given opportunities to publish in the magazine.
Assistant editor Aman Talwar stated that every edition of the magazine is also made available on the website, and full sets of the hard copies are being provided to select libraries. The e-version of the magazine is promptly delivered to readers after the formal launch.
On this occasion, Dr. Amit Sehrawat, who serves as an Associate Professor in the Cancer Treatment Department at AIIMS Rishikesh, was also honored with the ‘Lekhak Shri Samman’ for his valuable contribution as a writer to the magazine. The event was also graced by the presence of Mrs. Neelam Talwar, Akshat Talwar, CEO of Insidee Creative Media, among others.
